Gerd Leonhard is a futurist in the Media, Technology and Communication Industries. On the video below, he talks about social media and how he thinks it will change the way we live, communicate and make money in the near future. He also talks about the probable consequences of these changes on privacy, advertising, intellectual property and business paradigms.
It is very interesting.
PS: you can skip the first 60 seconds of the video. The introduction is not worth watching.
It gives some basic knowledge
ReplyDeletehi! how are you? thank you for following my site. I return the favor :) Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteThis was a really interesting video and I think this guy is right in many ways. I am not sure how it relates to physical products, other than perhaps sharing manufacturing information. But certainly when it comes to data and electronic information (including music and video) I can see how sharing and providing information for free has huge potential. But from an advertising perspective, because that is where income can be gained and where people will be rewarded for their effort.
ReplyDeleteI have decided to post this video on my blog and have followed you. If you would like to follow back please visit my blog.
Gerd Leonard's ideas are indeed interesting...but if you think about what he says ...in this day and age the openness is common sense!
ReplyDeleteCheers
What he said is already happening, the openness is up to the person on how much he wants to share.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
